Africa Videos

Dorst MediaWorks founder Steve Dorst spent a year in Cameroon in the late 1990s on a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. In part from this experience, he was motivated to make his first documentary film in Cameroon, Volcanic Sprint. Since then, he and the Dorst MediaWorks team have jumped at every opportunity to help tell stories for organizations that are working to do good on the African continent.

Africa is widely considered the oldest inhabited territory on earth. It is the second-largest and second most-populous continent, behind Asia. It contains an incredible diversity among its 54 countries and is huge: its land mass is three times that of the United States and it is more than 6,500 miles from its northernmost point of Îles des Chiens, Tunisia to South Africa’s Cape Agulhas.

If you work for one of the many US-based international organizations that are active on the Africa continent, consider giving us a call to help tell your story.
