Business and Economics Videos
There is probably no greater force for peace in the world than mutual business interests. That is the driving philosophy behind the Bretton Woods institutions set up in the wake of World War 2, namely the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. Dozens of US-based international organizations focus on these issues: promoting private sector development, macroeconomic stability, microfinance, and small business growth in developing countries worldwide. Working to reduce poverty around the world is not just the right thing to do: it helps create stable middle classes, minimizes conflict, and encourages peace and prosperity.
Dorst MediaWorks’ founder Steve Dorst received his Master’s in Economics at the John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington DC. His interest in these issues propelled Dorst MediaWorks’ focus on video production around business and economics topics — and long-standing producing relationships with the MCC, IMF, USAID, World Bank, and others.
